I’m a mother of two cute little kids, happily married to a very supportive husband. I’m an RN by profession. Other than being a busy mom I do modelling and acting as my hobby, I was crowned as “Mrs. India NY, 1st runner up 2019-2020. My motto – Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen to you.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is my strength. We believe that miracles can happen if we submit our concerns and our worries to GOD.  I live with  my two kids, husband and my parents.  I have a sister who also lives in Bergen County and another sister in Dubai.

Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a nurse and I work two jobs currently, one as an over night psych nurse, and the other as an occupational nurse during the day.  I help and assist people with their mental and emotional health. Being an RN for 14 years, I have worked in many departments including the ER, Critical Care, Cardiac Unit, Post Op ICU etc.  I can’t say one department was my favorite, I really loved my experience in all the departments.  Ultimately its all about patient care and having a positive impact in people’s lives.  As a psych nurse, I help my patients understand that there is hope in living and that life is precious.  I was recently featured in this article about being a healthcare provider during this pandemic.

Natasha Sharma, she is a dear friend of mine and a true example of women empowerment.  I attended one of her events and have built great relationship with her.  I would take her to Novino’s for lunch and I would pick her brain about how she manages such an amazing business.  I love her passion for women empowerment, so I would want to learn what influenced her to follow this career path, what does success look like for her, as a woman?

The harmony in our community is amazing, and a perfect example of that is how our community has really come together during this pandemic, ranging from schools, to families, to the local businesses!

Very few people know that I love to sketch and paint. I don’t really have a lot of time to do that these days, but if and when I do get a chance, I would love to sit there and sketch and paint!  I also find it very therapeutic to sing, so if I’m stressed or upset, you will find me in some corner of the house singing my heart out.
